The FCA has instructed platform technology provider SEI to carry out a section 166 review,also known as a skilled person review, of its UK business, according to people familiar with the matter.

Grant Thornton has been appointed to carry out the review, one source told Citywire.

They added that the review has been in place since Juneanddubbed internally ‘project starboard’.
